@vangard: If you go to the original Greek myths, centaurs are omnivores who eat just as humans do, just more of it.

@Centaur71: It's already been established that centaurs in this strip can eat meat.

Getting Your Hooves Wet #3: Cube said "I've had five Little Caesars' Hot-N-Readies today".

@Cubist: Its cool; We Centaurs can be omnivores too. (we DO have dual stomachs after all) Still, is Cubists cooking really that bad?

@Centaur71: Apparently, Shirleen has Very Definite Opinions on pancakes?

@Centaur71: He's not a bad cook, he's just making a style of pancake that is alien to Shirleen's concept of the foodtype. Her idea of pancakes is an American flapjack, and ONLY a flapjack. This is a culture shock for her.

@DarkwingDork: Dutch babies, though, don't rise that much in the middle, at least not in my experience. There's another possibility; seriouseats.com has an article about souffle omelets that look a lot like that -- basically, you separate the eggs, beating up the yolks, then beating the whites to stiff peak stage, mixing about half the whites back into the yolks, then folding in the rest of the whites until mixed evenly, and poured into a pan to cook, covering it to cook the top.
